About Galya Cohen
Dr. Galya Cohen is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP). Dr. Cohen mostly utilizes a cognitive-behavioral and existential approach to therapy. She works with adults and adolescents who have a variety of mental health conditions, including trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and psychotic spectrum disorders.

She also has an extensive forensic background, working with patients within the prison system (California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation). Furthermore, she has an extensive background in psychological testing and assessment, including cognitive and personality testing.

Dr. Cohen provides support, adaptive coping strategies, and constructive feedback to help assist patients in reaching their mental health goals.
